Falcons to the Super Bowl? Brother Demos Believes It and He'll Be There To Celebrate

When Atlanta Falcons fans go crazy for their team, Kappa Alphas can be proud that one of their brothers plays an important behind-the-scenes role in making it happen. Using both his love of community and his passion for sports, Chris Demos '90 performs community relations for the team. In this brief Q&A interview, Chris remembers life in the fraternity and the importance of friendship forever.

Why did you join the fraternity?
I knew a lot of the guys and thought it would be a good way to meet more people from across the state.

Tell us about your favorite memory of the fraternity.
There are too many to single out one. Memories include the KA-SAE football game, Saturdays in Athens in the fall, Old South - at the beach and schooling "Chicken" in the Cowboy Hoop Tournament.

Did you live in the house? If so, who were your roommates? Tell us about a memorable time with them.
Yes, I lived in the house in the middle room on the third floor. No roommate. Joe Orr, Blanchard, Footy, Humphrey, David Woodberry all lived up there at one time or another...the third floor was great. I remember everyone piling into my room at night because I had the only AC unit and heater that worked.

With whom do you still stay in contact? Who would you most like to find?
A: I stay in contact with David Scott, Chuck Humphrey, Robbie Cox, Stephen Eith, Kyle Blanchard, Billy Chipman, Kevin Howard and Jon Christensen. I'd like to find Chris Thomas, Roy Roberts, Dan Footy and Chip Hackman.

What kind of influence has the fraternity had on your life since graduation?
It has given be friendships that I will always keep.

Tell us about your family: Have you married? Do you have children?
I married my college girlfriend, Susan. We have one daughter, Madeline, who was born in the spring of 2001.
